The Al-Qaeda Manual

The excerpt is from the manual located by the Manchester ( England) Metropolitan Police
during a search of an Al Qaeda member's home.  The manual was found in a computer file described as " the military series"  related to the "Declaration of Jihad."  The manual was translated into English and was introduced at the embassy bombing trial in New York.

Missions Required of the Military Organization:
"Jihad."

The main mission for which the Military Organization is responsible is:

The overthrow of the godless regimes and their replacement with an Islamic regime.  Other
missions consist of the following:

1.        Gathering information about the enemy, the land, the installations, and the neighbors.

2        Kidnaping enemy personnel, documents, secrets, and arms.

3.        Assassinating enemy personnel as well as foreign tourists.

4.        Freeing the brothers who are captured by the enemy.

5.        Spreading rumors and writing statements that instigate people against the enemy.

6.        Blasting and destroying the places of amusement, immorality, and sin; not a vital target.

7.        Blasting and destroying the embassies and attacking vital economic centers.

8.        Blasting and destroying bridges leading into and out of cities.

How long could the fight against terrorism last?

Let's create a fictitious example:

An individual of strong religious beliefs unlike that of the founding fathers of this nation becomes sympathetic to the cause of his brethren in faith.  As he/she becomes indoctrinated, and more pronounced in the faith, and initiated in the faith of revolution against an infidel nation, this person
becomes an agent and deliverer of death, and destruction with the promise of being delivered into paradise as promised by Mohammed.

While this person of promise was in the womb, he made the trip across the Canadian or Mexican border with out fear of prejudice, and containment.  This person was born soon after the mother, father crossed the border into the United States.  Though the parents were not legal citizens, the sibling was;  it was/is his birthright.

Here in lies the real problem, and one reason why some experts believe that the fight against terrorism will last at least 25-30 years.  As these citizens grow up and are allowed to travel freely back and forth, the country's  security threat may be increased.  By allowing the freedom of nationalizing the sibling
of illegal parentage, the loss of freedom of those American's legally naturalized, and free born in the United States is jeopardized as a result of restrictions of freedom of movement. From this legal sibling of illegal parentage also comes the real threat of either a nuclear or biological disturbance being delivered with this person's belief that he will be delivered into paradise for the cause of Jihad.
