curfew
in
Karbala
and
dismisses
the
strangers
1/26/2005 Witnesses : the major general Abbas Fadel declared the good Karbala police chief, in the south of Iraq, today is that a curfew has been imposed today in the city and until poetry other in the time that it ordered in it the police forces in the city are all the lodgers of hotels and persons from not the city peoples with getting out of it starting from today and until the end of the Iraqi elections that is held next Sunday . And he added that the police command in the city took a series of measures within a well-knit security plan the elections that will take place in the end of current month aim at the protection of city and citizens during walking operation .And he clarified that the police patrols in the city undertook and since today in the morning with emptying all hotels from their lodgers and the request from all of the individuals from not the citizens of Karbala governorate with this departure of city today to making the city closed on their people and the non permission to any person from not the city peoples with the presence in them from now on and until the end of walking the coming elections ." And on the other hand, the police command declared in Karbala city the curfew in the city starting from today and until another one poetry . And the curfew starting from applies at sixth at night and until the fourth from in the morning the following day and its application is held until another one poetry . And as a result to these measures the city streets appeared free from the movement and most of the shops closed their doors since the movement of the trade depends in this city on the visitors who come to them from all over Iraq and from a big number of Islamic states because they include imams Al-Hussein 's shrines and Al Abbas and they from the sacred shrines at the Shiites . |
