Is Al Qaeda Affecting The Price Of Oil?by Jill St Claire (Special thanks to Pog for his assistance)
Contrary to what the mainstream media may be saying, the rising cost of oil can be attributed to the terrorist acts carried out by Al Qaeda and their vast terrorist network. The price of oil was , and has been on the rise since long before Hurricane Katrina devastated the New Orleans area. Al Qaeda, through its numerous video's, audio's and Internet messages, has made it overwhelmingly clear, that the American economy will be greatly affected at their hand. It is part of the BIG plan to destroy America The destruction of oil pipelines and refineries in the Middle East is occurring at an increased rate. Despite being forewarned of these attacks, both the refineries and the pipelines have not been secured by Coalition Forces in Iraq. Oil Supply As previously stated, the destruction of oil pipelines in Iraq and other areas of the Middle East has affected our economy already. The rising costs of gasoline have had an across the board ripple effect all over America. Just about everything that we purchase, from groceries to building materials has seen a rise in cost over the last two years. A good majority of the reason, is the rising cost of oil. Al Qaeda knows that, and has continued to strike at oil pipelines to keep the price of oil up. link Economic

Attacks against oil facilities are on the rise worldwide and Iran and Venezuela discussed, and may have negotiated what the two countries called a "Marketing agreement." Chavez is a wildcard that many in the oil markets have discounted but his growing connection to Iran and China is a factor in the coming confrontation with Iran that cannot be ignored. More than one source indicates that Chavez is actively undermining U.S policy in South America as well as encouraging and funding leftist terrorist groups in Columbia and other South American countries (i.e. recent attacks and threats on the oil fields of Columbia). Chavez is openly pushing to buy a "Nuclear Reactor" from Argentina who is seriously considering selling him the technology. To insure that Argentina cooperates Chavez bought 1.5 Billion of their outstanding bonds and is now the largest holder of Argentine National Debt. This purchase allowed Argentina to pay off its debt to the World Bank and get out from under its restrictions. If Iran takes its oil off the market for a "short period of time" and if Chavez has a "marketing agreement" he may do the same. We do not import oil directly from Iran but if Chavez cuts exports to the US for even two weeks, the price of oil will go over a hundred a barrel and have serious impact on our economy. Venezuela supplies fifteen percent of our crude oil, exports heating oil and gasoline to US Markets. Which Iran has the capability to do without it being attributable to their government? Add the Nigerian threats at this time (not accidental), loss of Iraqi oil to insurgents that was going to the world markets, maybe an attack or two on Columbian fields, and the potential result we could see is the world oil market in freefall, possibly in the next thirty days. If you are unfamiliar with the hostage crisis in Nigeria, and the demands made by the kidnappers regarding oil, read this article by Reuters. It is my belief that the world oil situation is getting ready to be a whole lot worse, and unfortunately, the blunt of it will probably be directed at the United States! What is frightening is that Al Qaeda is not the only 'terrorists' that we have to worry about...and don't be fooled, should Al Zawahiri or bin Laden be killed or captured, the problems that we are facing now, will not die with them!
