Shell confirms new Nigerian militant attacks 2-20-2006 LAGOS, Feb 20 (Reuters) - A Royal Dutch Shell oil pipeline was destroyed and a houseboat sunk in Nigeria in fresh attacks on Monday, the company said, confirming an earlier statement by militants.Shell said oil production in the area had already been shut following a string of attacks on Saturday, including the bombing of its Forcados crude oil loading platform, which cut supplies from the world's eighth largest exporter by a fifth.
