Al-Zawaheri Attacks Bush and Threatens With New Attacks

Tuesday 22 / 3 / 1425 hijri - the agreeing 11 / 5 / 2004 AD ( last update ) at 20 : 20 ( Holy Mecca ), 17 : 20

Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the second man in al-Qaeda Network, launched a severe attack on US president, George Bush, accusing him of deception and spreading what he described as coercion and fear in the region, and of appointing wicked rulers.

Al-Zawaheri underestimated in an audio tape, that Aljazeera received a copy of it, what he described as US calls for spreading freedom and security in the world, and denied that the US forces have eliminated two thirds of Al-Qaeda Network.

He strongly attacked former Iraqi president, Saddam Hussein, without mentioning his name, saying that Iraq moved from the power of a secular tyrant ruler opposing Islam to an occupation opposing Islam. He also threatened the United States of new attacks by those he called death brigades.

Al-Zawaheri points at the beginning of his recorded talk, to the State of Union speech that Bush delivered last month. It is known that the US president delivered the Union speech on the 20th of last January, the matter that shows that the tape was recorded after this date.
